1:1 therapy with Nikki

I have a limited number of individual therapy spaces available over Zoom.

Read more about my therapeutic approach below.

How does therapy work?

As your therapist, I won’t tell you what to do or give you ‘advice’.

I won’t tell you how to feel or what to think. And I won’t judge you for anything you think or feel: in my therapy room, all feelings and ideas are acceptable.

As an integrative humanistic counsellor, I believe you already have everything you need within you, right now, to feel peaceful, content and fulfilled. My role is to create an environment and relationship with me that helps you discover all of that.

I’ll also set boundaries – and hold us to them, to keep us both safe in our relationship.

I work both long-term and short-term with clients. Here are some of the issues I can help with - but if you don’t see your specific issue on the list, you can still get in touch - I might be able to help:

- Addictions and addiction recovery, including 12-step support

- Codependency

- Relationship issues, including romantic partnerships

- Sex and sexuality in relationships

- Low self-esteem

- Body image

- Fear of intimacy

- Setting and holding boundaries

- Depression

- Anxiety

- Panic attacks

- OCD and intrusive thoughts

- Loss and bereavement

- Miscarriage

- Postnatal depression

Choosing the right therapist for you is really important.

That's why there's no pressure to continue working with me if it doesn't feel quite right for you.

I offer a 15-minute free phone consultation before we arrange our first session, to see if we feel like a good fit. Reach out to me to book a call, if you feel I can help.

I passionately believe that counselling should be available to everyone and that cost should not exclude anyone from seeing a good, qualified therapist.

Sadly, I am not able to see many clients at low-cost, which makes 1:1 therapy with me the least cost-effective option. If you’d like to work with me in a different way, check out my group therapeutic writing programme.

If you’d like to see a therapist 1:1 at low cost, contact me for a list of resources, which I’ll send you for free.
