What’s ‘women’s language’?

Women tend to have a different tone in their writing to men. Phrases like ‘Sorry in advance!’ and ‘Just to check…’ crop up a lot. And sounding confident doesn't mean getting rid of the soft, warm touches we often use when we write and speak. In fact, those things can make us great communicators.

But there's a difference between genuine connection and being falsely self-deprecating or undermining ourselves. Those things impact our success.
